Since relaunching 6 months ago as a cannabis marketplace for medical patients and dispensaries, we've made great strides in fulfilling our mission to provide access to the best craft cannabis in Canada.
In the past 6 months, we've worked hard to innovate, expand, and enhance the Herbal Dispatch service with new features, products, and improvements. We've been listening to you, our community, and have taken your feedback to build a comprehensive, reliable, and trusted cannabis marketplace that is best-in-class.
The support we've received from our members and partners has been tremendous, and we thank you for your continued enthusiasm and feedback. Operating in the cannabis industry has its share of challenges, but you make it all worthwhile.
Raising the bar: 6 months of innovation
Over the past 6 months, we've made great progress in shaping Herbal Dispatch into something special. There's been a lot of hard work and innovation that has gone into making Herbal Dispatch the most reliable and trusted cannabis marketplace in Canada. Here are a few of our most noteworthy accomplishments:
Menu selection - Our menu has grown considerably, from 17 dried flower strains on day 1 to 75 strains today. We now offer over 500 products from 50+ brands, representing a full range of medical cannabis products available in Canada. Exclusive offerings from Golden Spruce, Remo Farms, and Herbal Dispatch Craft Cannabis are just some of the top-shelf products you'll find on our menu.
Lower prices - With the help of our suppliers and partners, we've been able to pass on significant cost savings to our members. With ounces of premium craft cannabis now starting at $99, it's never been easier or more affordable to access high-quality cannabis.
Enhanced product pages - Improvements to the website have been an ongoing effort and we've made numerous upgrades to improve your experience. Product pages now include certificates of analysis (COA), terpene profiles with associated effects and benefits, and cannabinoid breakdowns for every product.
Simplified registration - The process of signing up and becoming a member has been streamlined, making it easier than ever to register. Now you can sign up in minutes without the need to book an appointment with a practitioner. With just a few clicks, you can become a Herbal Dispatch member and access our full suite of products.
New filters and sorting options - Locate the right strain faster and easier with our newest filters. Sort by cannabinoid content, filter by terpene profile or product attribute, and select products based on price or user ratings. Use wishlists to create and save product collections for future orders or use the product compare feature to compare up to four strains side-by-side.
Customer service - After deploying an upgraded telephone system, our customer service team is now better equipped than ever to handle your questions and inquiries with speed and accuracy. We pick up the phone quickly and resolve issues efficiently.
Improved shipping - To offer enhanced delivery times and improved convenience, we've partnered with Purolator to offer an express shipping option. With an average delivery time of 48 hours or less, you can get your products faster than ever.
Community engagement - Our Lift Expo Afterparty event in January was a huge success and it kickstarted our monthly Industry Night at the New Amsterdam Cafe. Special guests such as Coast Mountain, Ross' Gold, and Remo Farms have been featured, and the event continues to be a great way for members of the community to come together and connect.
Direct billing with Blue Cross - As part of our mandate to improve accessibility and affordability, we are proud to offer direct billing with Blue Cross for veterans and first responders. This allows members to access their medical cannabis with no out-of-pocket costs.
The next chapter: What's in store for the coming months
Though we've made great strides in a short amount of time, our work is far from done. We have ambitious plans for the next 6 months and beyond, and we remain committed to our mission of providing access to the highest quality craft cannabis products available in Canada. Here's a sneak peek at what we have in store for the near future:
Ongoing curation - The curation of our menu will continue and we'll be adding more exclusive craft cannabis products on an ongoing basis. Product additions include more CBG and CBN options, suppositories, cannabis sugar, and other innovative products.
Continuing to lower prices - Continuing to lower prices - Our commitment to lowering prices for premium craft cannabis will remain a priority and we will pass on cost savings from our partners to our members. More budget-friendly ounces, pre-rolls, and concentrates are on the horizon.
Enhanced product pages - We'll be including package dates, ingredient listings for edibles, and additional product details so you can make informed decisions about what products are right for you. You'll also be able to sort by price per gram, allowing you to compare prices more easily.
More unique experiences - Being a member of Herbal Dispatch means more than just great prices and selection - it's an experience. We have several initiatives planned to help celebrate our members with ongoing monthly Industry Nights, cannabis farm tours, special events, and more!
VIP program - In recognition of our loyal members we'll be introducing a VIP program with exclusive offers, discounts, and priority service. Based on your feedback, we'll look to make this as rewarding as possible for our members.
Enhanced coverage - If you have HCAI (Health Claims for Auto Insurance) or other insurance coverage, we'll be making it easier for members to access their medical cannabis without any out-of-pocket costs. We'll be expanding the number of insurance providers we accept and increasing our direct billing capabilities.
