About Sesame Oil

Crafted in the charming village of Noda, Japan, this sesame oil is a product of the local community’s support and traditional oil-making techniques. Farm & Florist is proud to offer a premium Sesame Oil that’s perfect for adding depth and nuttiness to your cooking.

Whether you’re using it as a base for marinades, a finishing oil for soups and salads, or a stir-fry seasoning, Farm & Florist Sesame Oil is a versatile ingredient that can elevate any dish.

Although it has a high smoke point of around 410°F (which makes it suitable for high-heat cooking methods such as sautéing, pan-frying, and deep-frying) we don’t recommend cooking at this high temperature as you will burn off the THC. Instead, we recommend you use it as a finisher or drizzler instead. Its rich, distinct flavour also makes it an excellent addition to dressings, sauces and marinades.

Not the best quality sesame oil; convenient; tasty

10mg THC limit aside; without knowing anything about the oil itself, it's hard for me to give a fair assessment. The problem is that I'm a pretty particular cook, and I like to buy my own ingredients, and the sesame oil that I have is probably better, so I would not buy this oil again. It's a very convenient product - just bad packaging (probably because of Health Canada).
