This was another good looking quarter, with a mix of smaller and medium sized buds. As usual with Magi, the cure is right on, with a nice sticky grind.

It’s got a spicy, skunky nose, almost meaty. In the vape it’s a really spicy musk with hints of gas.

This is the fourth product I’ve tried from Magi and I have to say, they are nailing it. Once again, more excellent medicine. Definitely strong medicine too.

Today, I will be trying Magi Cannabis White Truffle strain . Magi Cannabis small batch micro growers based out of SaltSpring Island, BC. White Truffle based on the info provided is a Gorilla Butter Phenotype . This strain is a mix of Gorilla Glue 4 x Peanut Butter Breath it is coming in at 29.8% thc and 4.1% terpenes . The dominant terpenes listed are Limonene
1.25%,Nerolidol 0.83%,Caryophyllene 0.62%. This strain is available on Herbal Dispatch medical via 7 and 14 gram formats coming in at 69.95$ and 124.95$ before tax. This bag was packaged on February 22nd, 2024.

Observations:
I opened up the bag and was presented with medium to large buds. Very fresh and with spongyness but slight dense to it when squishing it. It has some sticky tricomes and is very frosted, buds. It got nice, even layering of dark and light green hues with some orange hairs all over and some small amount of purple . Very fresh buds and overall quite impressed.

Aroma:
Opening the bag and transferring to jar after leaving it a day in the jar . The first smell I get is that of sweet musky skunk . As I continued to smell, I got some notes of earthyness mixed with some nice spiced notes. That would be followed by woodsy with subtle pine with sweetness coming back. A suprising subtle citrus aroma in the background like light lemon pastry. It's hard to notice with the strong sweet skunk and woodsy being promient, but overall, it's a great aroma with a nice mixture of aromas and those spice notes mixing well throughout the aroma

Flavour:

The first taste I get is strong herbal woodsy taste in the vape. That herbal taste is a mixture of strong lemon and floral, very reminiscent of peanut butter breath in its lineage .Continuing, I get a nice mix of lineages with a pine taste I notice in the past with both peanut butter breath and GG4 . It is a great flavor and finds that this phenotype is very reminiscent of its lineage Peanut Butter Breath and Gorilla Glue 4. It burned smooth in joint and also was smooth in bong bowl as well the joint did have nice sweet musky earthy aftertaste in joint quite pleasant.

Effects:

After the first 5 mins after inhale, I get very familiar body high common with both lineages . The potency coming in around medium/moderate potency already it follows with some great relaxing tingly vibes that start in the feet and work its way up . As more time passes, the potency goes up to a moderate level . The effects I get are heady high behind the eyes where you get ideas flowing and wanting to do something, maybe hobbies or something creative. This will eventually turn into some sedating sleepy vibes and make it easy to have a good nice sleep near the end of the high overall very versatile strain with some great potency.

Conclusion:

Overall I can say I'm impressed again by Magi Cannabis with their White Truffle strain by the bud appearance to the freshness ,aroma ,effects it checks off a lot of boxes while be very helpful and versatile medicine. I find it helps with a lot of things from personal experience ranging from anxiety/stress,stomach issues ,head trauma, chronic pain, and insomnia. It was a great evening to nighttime strain with very potent effects that started off strong but built up slowly to a nice stronger high when it was said and done .
Low tolerance user I would start off small doses it does build up slowly, but it potency is strong. High tolerance users will enjoy this it very versatile strain that does a little bit of everything and great potency that won't disappoint from my experience.
Magi Cannabis is a great grower that shows care and quality and reccommend giving any of their strains a try that some are available through them and also Eastcann on ontario rec being their Hippie headbanger and Pink Kush .
As mentioned before, too, through Magi themselves medically (HD) and through BC rec side. So far, I've reviewed their Salty Pink, Hippie Headbanger, SaltSping Love Haze,Chemdawg Og prerolls, and come quite impressed. The next review will be Magi Cannabis very own Timmy's Og Shark and Pine Tar, the only strain left to try and review.

V.Z. Must be tripping? It’s a good strain with a smooth high. It’s definitely top shelf green. The disappointment came for me with the 20g smalls in the Salty Pink and Timmy’s OG.

This was the first & last time trying Magi! Major disappointment and I bought 2 half’s paying top dollar! Overpriced to say the least!
