Product Description
“I rather enjoy this little beauty, it gives you a wonderful glow making you feel happy for hours with a spurt of energy.”
TrainWreck is a predominately Sativa medical hybrid with a spicy taste reminiscent of pepper. Like many Sativa dominate hybrids TrainWreck provides a very intense cerebral high. It’s effects are mood enhancing and euphoric. What makes TrainWreck different from many other hybrid strains is that it still keeps some of the effects of the Inidca highs; covering the body in a nice pain numbing buzz. Trainwreck, when it is properly grown, retains the lazy couchlock feelings of an Indica and the cerebral stimulation of a Sativa. Apart from the usual dryness of mouth and eyes; some users may experience paranoia, anxiety and dizziness.
Even with the Indica effects, Trainwreck is still a mostly-Sativa kind of high with ADHD, PTSD and stress most often listed as its top medical uses. Properly grown Trainwreck is also used to alleviate chronic joint aches and muscle stiffness. From many user’s accounts only a few hits are needed to induce both the cerebral effects and a body high complete with couchlock.
This strain was supposedly the creation of two Californian brothers back in the late seventies. It is a mix of three other strains Thai (Sativa), Mexican (Sativa) and Afghani (Indica). Trainwreck is ninety percent Sativa and only ten percent Indica. As the story goes the two brothers had to pull their crop early because there was a nasty train wreck that happened near their grow site and they didn’t want it discovered; thus the name. Now Trainwreck is a very sought after strain through medical dispensaries.
Parents of: Mexican, Thai, Afghani
Similar to: White Widow, Northen Lights, AK-47, OG Kush, Green Crack
Flavors: Earthy, pine, pungent
Effects: Euphoric, happy, uplifted, relaxed, creative
Medical: Stress, depression, pain, insomnia, lack of appetite

TrainWreck Strain: Full-Bodied Medication
TrainWreck genetics consist of Mexican (Sativa), Thai (Sativa), Afghani (Indica), making this strain a Sativa-dominant Hybrid. Predominantly affecting the mind, patients can expect TrainWreck to provide a significant rush of adrenaline, coupled with a calming body buzz.
TrainWreck Considered Highly Potent
Despite TrainWreck being Sativa-dominant, it will provide a nice mellow body melt (from the Afghani genetics) that helps with chronic aches and pains.
“In fact, a few dispensaries I have talked to recently stated that their patients were in love with TrainWreck, demanding it be in stock at all times.”
The Afghani in the genetics gives the TrainWreck plants more of an Indica look and grow-pattern, despite the effects being heavier on the Sativa side.
The Trainwreck strain is very popular among patients suffering from ADHD, anxiety, stress, migraines, headaches, PTSD, and chronic aches and pain. Properly grown TrainWreck provides an intense head-high as well as a soothing couch-lock within a few seconds.
Some patients swear by Train Wreck, claiming it is the only marijuana strain they medicate with (when it is available at their local dispensary). Additionally, the Trainwreck strain is used by many to help them cope with joint pain and muscle stiffness.
TrainWreck Is A Patient Favorite
The aroma from the Train Wreck strain instantly reminds you of ground pepper with a dash of sweetness. Trainwreck almost always a very spicy smoke session that is both memorable and delicious. It’s really hard to be let down by Trainwreck. After all, the TrainWreck strain is one of my favorite all-time Hybrid strains of cannabis.

This is a real nice sativa. Hits quick and fades a little, leaving you functional but still medicated. Good value for the price. We really need half stars or a 10 star system. I’d give this 8.5/10.

This ganj was satisfactory, if a bit light for my needs. It did give a great uplifting high with very little burn-out, had a clean, light sativa taste and helped to stimulate appetite. Potency was probably on target for a sativa, but I found myself drifting to the other baggies in my sample pack far more often than this strain, while I’ll still give it a five for it’s value.

Trainwreck is right! …in a good way of course 🙂
I’ve been smoking for a long time and the thick, dank smoke produced from this variety hits me right away. This is quickly moving its way up to my personal top 3.
