For those of us who have enjoyed everything the grey market has to offer over the last few years, you are already aware of a vast array of delicious treats that have been available. Everything from gummies, to infused sauces, maple syrup, drinks and lots more have been for sale. Now that we are entering into a legal market, many of these products will either disappear completely for the time being or be much less available.
So what is an edible lover to do when legal edibles do not yet exist?
I know this sounds crazy, but human beings learned to cook before they knew how to purchase food, so going back to basics and making your own treats should be fairly straightforward.
It’s important to note that if you’re simply not interested in cooking with cannabis, there are other ways to ingest marijuana without having to take out the pots and pans. For example, Herbal Dispatch will have both capsules and tinctures available right from the start.
To those unaware, the capsules simply look like any other pill shaped vessel, filled with potent cannabis oil which will bring about the fantastic effects of marijuana just as fast if not faster than a traditional edible.
A tincture, is an alcoholic extract of cannabis that comes with a dropper for application under the tongue. Tinctures generally work quickly and are very potent.
But getting back to the challenge at hand, which is how to have your cannabis and eat it too. The best way to add marijuana in your food is through butter and many people use the Magical Butter Machine. This handy little device may sound like it was invented by the Wizard of Oz, but in actual fact it’s one of the most popular and easiest ways to make cannabis infused butter.
Once it’s made, you can add the butter to any recipes that call for it as a base to cook with. That includes stir fried vegetables, baked goods, sautéed meats, even simply spreading it on toast is good enough.
The great part about it is, edibles will be available in the future and Herbal Dispatch will most certainly carry the highest quality products around when they are. For now, consumers can get a real education on the precise nature of cooking with weed. In the end, this will allow the discerning cannabis lover to have the choice of buying or making their own cuisine. And who doesn’t want more choice?
Thanks again for sticking with Herbal Dispatch during our transition and we look forward to serving you ASAP.
